We heard some more news from the US Embassy today. We were expecting that we had cleared up all the paperwork issues and that we would be cleared by the embassy to schedule a date. That didn't happen. The embassy is still looking for more detail on some of the paperwork. I appreciate the care they're taking, but I also of course hope that Rogi can come home very soon. I've seen this sort of thing cause a delay of days, and sometimes it can cause a delay of weeks or more. I think it's more likely to only be a week or two, but please pray that this document can come quickly and accurately. After we get cleared, we will get to schedule a date for my wife and my sister to head to Ethiopia to bring Rogi home. Appointments are already being scheduled for the beginning of August, so it could be then or much later depending on how long it takes to clear us.
