Update
As of today, we are waiting for an update from the US Emabssy. We have gotten Rogi's birth certificate at this point. He will be issued an Ethiopian passport. Once the Embassy clears him, we will be able to schedule an appointment to get a U.S. visa. Emily and my sister will be going to pick him up hopefully at either the end of July/first half of August. When the Embassy got back to us last week they had some paperwork they wanted corrected. We hopefully have that done at this point and hope to hear this week again from the embassy. Pray that they clear us and that we will be able to schedule an appointment to bring Rogi home!

wow, he looks so different from when we saw him back in January! in a good way of course, he has really grown and looks so healthy! we will keep you in our prayers for embassy clearance. i know how hard it is to wait once you've met your little one!
